Executive Director, Chairman, and Co-Founder of the Beautiful Gate Center.The Beautiful Gate Center (BGC) is a 501c3 non-profit private Developmental Learning Center and group therapeutic practice for children and youth with Developmental Disabilities (DD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) located in Charleston, SC. The first of its kind in the LowCountry. Beautiful Gate Center intensive program improves the long-term quality of life of the children we serve, and their families, through an innovative full-day, year-round, center-based, inter-disciplinary program that leverages highly skilled Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Special Education professionals utilizing an evidence-based approach to all disciplines. The base program has been modeled after several successful programs across the USA. BGC serves children with cognitive delays and moderate to severe behavioral and communication challenges, life skill deficits, and emphasizes the application of Augmentative and Alternative Communication technology.All children have the ability for “Learning Differently Together”
