About Angie Perez

Dr. Angela (Angie) Perez is a Principal Toxicologist with over 20 years of experience in applied toxicology, exposure assessment, and human health risk assessment. Dr. Perez completed her PhD in Toxicology at Oregon State University and postdoctoral work at the University of California, San Francisco in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Dr. Perez conducted field research in soils, air, and waters, and has performed bulk and leachability testing on numerous consumer products, including toys, cosmetics, fabric/textiles, and heavy equipment. She has over 50 published articles and abstracts on the topics of asbestos, triclosan, metals, phthalates, styrene, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), PFAS, and decision analysis tools for chemical hazard prioritization. More recently, Dr. Perez provides expert litigation support primarily in the areas of PFAS exposure assessment and human health risk assessment and risk of personal injury or impairment from use of drugs.
