The President will oversee the overall strategic and operational responsibility for Associations North staff and execution of its mission. The President will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors to provide visionary leadership and drive strategy and change required to stay sustainable and relevant. • Strategic Leadership and Communication: Assist in the development of, and fully implement the strategic plan of Associations North, clearly articulating organizational goals for financial and programmatic stability and growth; motivate and inspire others to support the vision of Associations North; enthusiastically model the culture of Associations North throughout the organization and the community. Cultivate a strong and transparent working relationship with the Board and ensure open communication about the measurement of financial and impact performance against stated milestones and goals.• Operational Planning and Management: Monitor the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services; maximize efficiency and minimize redundancies in all aspects of operations; ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.• Financial Planning and Management: Ensure long-term financial stability; oversee the development and management of budgetary and financial controls and procedures.• Human Resources Planning and Management: Support, develop, and retain a qualified and excellent staff and volunteers; ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the organization by selecting and developing effective people; foster culture set forth.• Relationship Management: Maintain strong and effective relationships within the association community and partners in mission.
