I lead a dynamic team of graphic designers in our Tallahassee office, serving the West Florida division and supporting clients with strategic communications and outreach plans. I oversee the creation of infographics, handout materials, and presentations that effectively communicate project objectives, purpose, and outcomes. By developing and implementing communication strategies, I ensure stakeholder understanding and support for project goals.In my role, I am responsible for establishing goals and objectives for public engagement and communications programs, providing strategic support, guidance, and recommendations to clients to advance their goals and build stakeholder support. I present proposals and strategies to clients to help win work in conjunction with other project leadership, delivering quality work on time, within budget, and to the client\'s satisfaction.I identify potential audiences, engage new individuals and groups as others become involved, and direct the development and approval of overall program messaging, implementation strategies, collateral materials, and supplemental communications materials. I ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and client-specific requirements, while managing public engagement and communications employees in developing and administering public involvement, communications, and outreach programs.Additionally, I oversee support staff efforts to ensure successful implementation and development of events, print and graphic materials, and program messaging, providing direction as needed. I am responsible for the recruitment, hiring, mentoring, development, and retention of staff, including performance and compensation reviews, and succession planning. I also manage sub-consultants for public/community relations, graphic design, and other outside work as needed, ensuring cohesive and effective communication strategies across all projects.
