ABOUT ANGELA D. GREENE

I am a highly adaptable and collaborative employee benefits consultant with over 20 years of experience helping clients comply with federal and state laws impacting employee benefits, including tax and ERISA requirements applicable to retirement benefit plans. I take pride in assisting plan sponsors create and administer qualified and non-qualified retirement plans to provide maximum tax savings while helping their employees save for retirement. I am passionate about partnering with clients to create robust benefits to attract and retain top talent. With extensive experience in plan design, operation, governance and regulatory compliance, I have advised sponsors of various types of retirement plans including 401(k), 403(b), executive compensation, and defined benefit plans. I have assisted qualified plan sponsors in IRS audits and Department of Labor investigations. Additionally, I have counseled and prepared documentation to assist clients in correcting plan mistakes and avoiding the consequences of plan disqualification by using the IRS Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS) in connection with matters before the IRS and the Department of Labor. As a strategic business partner, I am known for using effective communication and project management skills to help clients define their retirement needs and building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors to provide value-added compliance solutions and strageties to complex employee benefit issues. In addition to having practical work experience in employee benefits desgin, compliance and administration, I have a Master of Laws in Taxation with a Certificate in Employee Benefits from Georgetown University Law Center.
