About Angela Wise

In 2018, I made the transition from the corporate world of hospitality management to the non-profit world. I did not know what the job would entail but I knew one thing– I was going to make a positive impact in the world! Now, my job is to connect with corporations and our communities and help them do the same thing through their company. In a nutshell, that’s my job - to approach corporations and our community and help them make a positive impact in the lives of kids facing critical illness in Orange County and the Inland Empire. So how do you do this for your business? Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the name of this movement within a company to shift their mindset from wanting to give back to actionable efforts within the community to make an impact. This business model allows companies to be socially accountable to itself, the people invested in the company, and the employees while bringing awareness to the public. By participating in CSR, the corporation can have a positive impact on the community in which they serve and in turn, increase employee satisfaction, increase sales, and create brand awareness for their business while supporting a non-profit organization.So what does that look like for your company?
