ABOUT ANGELA SUAREZ
With over 6 years of experience in multi-method program evaluation—and prior international practice as a physician in Venezuela since 2012—I bring both clinical and research perspectives to advancing health equity. At La Clínica del Pueblo, I lead participatory, equity-driven evaluations that not only assess program impact but also strengthen the quality of service delivery by evaluating and improving systems of care for underserved communities.My medical training and years of practice provide a strong foundation for bridging frontline care with evaluation and implementation science, ensuring that findings translate into meaningful improvements for patients, providers, and organizations. As a Doctor of Public Health student and Bloomberg Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, I am expanding my expertise in implementation science with the goal of making evaluation a catalyst for practice transformation and a driver of more equitable, community-centered public health systems.
