I remind myself daily that the best part of being a lawyer is the opportunity to work on issues that matter. In my nearly twenty-year legal career, I have had the privilege to work with everyone from business executives to government officials, helping them find creative solutions to complex legal issues. I have deep experience in state government having served for over a decade in leadership roles at the Office of the Governor and the Texas Attorney General’s Office. The experience I have gained from years as a trial attorney, leading the flagship litigation division at the Texas Attorney General’s Office, and serving as legal counsel to elected officials allows me to be an effective problem-solver during my clients’ most critical moments.
