ABOUT ANGELA WRIGHT
I have over 25 years global professional experience, including more than 15 years as a consultant, coach, coach supervisor, educator and researcher. In 2018 I received the coaching supervision award from the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC).Passionate about raising standards in coaching, I was part of the writing team responsible for drafting the world’s first ISO (International Organization for Standards) aligned Guideline for the training of coaches and the provision of coaching services.I am actively involved in research, curriculum design and teaching, including: the world’s largest leadership and coaching research project that focused on the development of a leader’s “Complexity of Mind”; research into Engagement & Motivation pursuant to a grant from Harvard\'s Institute of Coaching; and a study into Coaching Supervision. I currently serve on the Editorial Board of the Philosophy of Coaching: An International Journal. I co-facilitate the Oxford Brookes Advanced Professional Program in Coaching Supervision in the U.S. and Australia, and the Supervision of Groups & Team Coaches Program in the U.K. I am also part of the invited founding faculty and a coach supervisor at the Global Team Coaching Institute and a former faculty member on the MS in Executive Coaching & Organizational Consulting at New York University.Coaching specialties include: One-on one executive and leadership coaching Coaching supervision (Individual, Peer & Group) of both internal and external coaches Systemic team coaching & group coaching Neurodiversity in coaching & leadership Coach training, education & professional development Building internal coaching capability Assessment and Selection of Coaches Management of external coaching panels Creating coaching cultures & coaching centers of excellencePrior to my full-time consulting career I practiced as an attorney, leading large international teams on projects and disputes worth in excess of $1billion. I specialized in disputes around professional responsibility, breach of duty of care, conflicts of interest and ethical issues. This is invaluable in my practice as a coach supervisor.
