ABOUT ANGELA WARISO

When I was about 8 years old, I remember having a conversation with my uncle, who was a petroleum engineer, and asking him what he did at his job. In that conversation, he said, “The crude oil that they extract from the ground can be converted to make everyday things we use in our homes and on our bodies.”. That amazed me! I immediately wanted to know how, so I asked him if we could get the crude oil and start making things. He laughed and said,\"Well, if you want to do that, you need to become a chemical engineer”. That was the beginning of my journey in the energy and engineering industry. Today, I am a Manager of Instrumentation and Controls Engineering and a Chemical Engineer and not only did I learn how raw materials are converted to consumer products, but I also learned how to control the different processes. With over 18+ years of experience in the refining, pipeline, chemicals, and offshore sectors of the industry both locally and internationally, I have managed projects that aim to perform these transformations from estimating and front-end engineering through detailed design and construction. I have completed projects on schedule, within budget, and of high quality. I have extensive experience in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering. I am a professional engineer licensed in 12 states in the United States.My Career experience includes project management and managing engineering teams in the Energy Industry. I have a Masters degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance; this helps me understand the financial aspects of organizations to generate revenue and be profitable while serving their clients, internal and external to the organizations.
