Admit patients into Skilled Nursing/Long term care, develop and maintain good relationships within the community, hospitals, and other facilities. Work with nurses, Doctors, Case managers, and other medical staff at the facility to make sure they are prepared for the admission with all vital information needed. I perform insurance verifications and give tours of the facility daily. Read over all hospital, facility, and home Referrals to determine if a patient is the right fit for our facility, as well as coordinate and attend marketing events for business development purposes. I work with quick books, excel, Microsoft word, Point click care, Allscripts, Ensocare, Navi Health(Curaspan) etc.
