   The engineer team focuses on rapidly developing products determined valuable from business stakeholders. The team operates in the Scrum agile framework working closely with the Product Owner. Developed new page in application to reduce the cancellation of policies by injesting a Machine Learning model through an S3 bucket providing the policies most likely to cancel. Conducted and led interviews for senior and principal software engineers. Built an application to do advanced analytics on an insurance agent’s book of business. Built an application to help determine the viability of entering a new market area for Liberty Mutual Insurance. Improved agent experience, internal operations workflow, and brand consistency by spearheading a partnership with a design team to develop a service request form for agents. Completed email development on two separate projects to make the information more relevant to agents and data easier to filter and sort for our internal customers. Wrote automated UI tests using Cypress for five customer facing sites. Built an MVP customer billing page in Angular and C# on the Safeco customer portal to increase the net promoter score and customer transactions by collaborating with the development team, product owner, designer, and content strategist. Reduced risk and encouraged iterative improvement through the design and creation of a site-wide A/B test. Completed a five-week training program covering: BDD, Mongo, Spring, React, Web App Security, and Agile.
