A determined Supported Employment Practitioner and Recruitment Specialist. Supporting Businesses to carry out their CSR by increasing the diversity of their workforce. Providing Local Employers with a Business Solution, introducing them to creative recruitment, Disability Awareness Training for employers and their staff and mentoring and support to Line Managers with reasonable adjustments. I am always on the look out for development opportunities being made available and accessible to disadvantaged members of our community. Removing barriers and challenging societal discrimination towards disabilities, leading to positive outcomes and equal life chances for everyone. Working in partnership with Slough Borough Council, JCP, Local Employers, Educational Settings, Partner Agencies and five other Local Authorities and by working closely with DWP, Health & Social Care, we are making a impact and changing lives.I have worked for 20+ years in various sectors, settings and businesses, including family owned and run, corporate and multi- national.
