The Executive Director of Ministries plays a vital role in leading, aligning, and supportingall ministries at Christ Church Sierra Madre to fulfill the church’s mission and vision. As amember of the Executive Team—alongside the Lead Pastor and Executive Director ofOperations—this role provides strategic oversight, development, and coaching to keyministry leaders. The Executive Director also takes primary responsibility for creating andmaintaining a healthy small groups system that fosters biblical community and spiritualgrowth among adults.Key Responsibilities and Expectations1. Coaching & Leadership Development- Lead regular check-ins and evaluations with ministry directors (Kids, Youth,Outreach, Care, Young Adults)- Provide pastoral support, coaching, and goal setting- Cultivate staff strengths and encourage personal and professional growth.2. Ministry Strategy & Growth- Collaborate with directors to execute the church-wide vision for discipleship- Ensure alignment, cohesion, and spiritual health across all ministries.3. Group Leadership Development- Recruit, train, and mentor small group leaders- Strengthen biblical community through well-supported discipleship opportunities.4. Communication & Alignment- Serve as the key bridge between ministry leaders and the Lead Pastor- Ensure ministries remain aligned with the church’s vision, values, and strategicgoal
