ABOUT ANGELA PADGETT
I began my professional career with the State of Florida in 1996 as a volunteer with the Florida Department of Revenue. I voluntarily removed myself from the labor force to be a stay at home mother. One year later, I briefly returned to Florida Department of Revenue and then moved on to be an associate at Bank of America. After 8 years I was laid off. I decided to work part time jobs: collections manager, tax advisor, telemarketing - and went to school full time. About a year after I obtained a position back with the state - you guessed it! Department of Revenue! I have been with the state in various programs and agencies for the past 13 years. What makes me the most valuable is I have about 30 years combined educational and professional experience.
