Provides ESOH support and program management of Intro to Service (ITS) activities (site surveys, activation planning, contract requirements, working groups, and facility design), integration activities, and oversight the establishment of the long term sustainment solution for the F-35 weapon system at designated site(s). Additionally, supports the logistic/sustainment liaison with assigned F-35 User, assists in communicating/clarifying the ESOH capabilities/requirements to the F-35 JPO from the strategic level (national level environmental agencies), operational level (component commands, air forces, fleet), to the tactical level (specific bases/depots/ships).Responsibilities- Provides environmental policy advice regarding legislation, regulation, and policy to F-35 user nations regarding the unique F-35 environmental requirements- Provides program management support (planning/ cost/ schedule/ performance/management) for environmental efforts within the Hybrid Product Support Integrator (HPSI)(i.e. studies/tests/analysis/research projects)- Provides F-35 Introduction to Service support for Logistics Capability Delivery (LCD) in accordance with the Site/Ship Activation Master Plan (SSAMP)- Provides support for F-35 National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)(and foreign nations equivalent) documentation for the program’s F-35 LCD beddown activities- Performs as the technical ESOH coordinator for non-polluting technologies, materials selection, and coordinate and manages environmentally related research, development, test, and evaluation for the F-35 program, including projects in the Environmental Security Technology Certification Program and Small Business Innovative Research arenas- Currently leading the Logistics Capability Delivery teams Secretary of the Air Force driven basing decision reorganization; facilitated off-site working groups/developed SharePoint IT function to capture critical details; 436 positions postured to move to Ohio by 2022.
