About Angela Nelson

I am an enthusiastic and passionate healthcare professional. I am motivated by leading teams to improve business growth and find solutions to multifaceted problems. I have held several leadership positions in my 30+ tenure at CVS Health and enjoy developing talent, growing the business, and building relationship across the enterprise. I am a pharmacist by trade and have spent my life devoted to helping patients and ensuring patient safety is paramount in each of my positions. I have a track record of having an engaged team and can effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. I have had several experiences leading multiple different teams for the organization. These areas include leading a team of 19 CVS retail stores (Front store and Pharmacy with P&L responsibility), corporate Professional Practice, Change Management and Retail Supply Chain. One of my accomplishments is working with a team to create the “Pharmacist Teach Program” that educates young teens about the dangers of prescription drugs and has reached thousands of young adults across the country. I currently lead a team responsible for compliance in nineteen Distribution Centers across the country and responsible for the pharmacy drug products distributed to all CVS retail locations. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Healthcare from Strayer University.I am committed to giving back to my community and have been involved with Easter Seals, a non-profit organization, for twenty years. Easter seals supports children and adults with disabilities, and I currently hold the position of Vice-Chair for the Board of Directors. I also enjoy being a mentor to many individuals in the organization and support their inspiration to learn and grow within the company. Lastly, I love being the best mom, wife, sister, and friend that I can be all while growing my career.
