ABOUT ANGELA GRANT

I appreciate you taking the time to read my profile. I am a very proud Deloitte partner and have been fortunate enough to have spent the last 28 years working with fantastic clients and inspiring Deloitte professionals providing indirect tax strategic advice to clients globally. I have worked in a number of industries but primarily in the consumer business and manufacturing sectors. I thoroughly enjoy helping to make clients\' lives a little better as it relates to indirect tax compliance, including assisting with establishing strong indirect tax processes and controls as part of systems implementations/updates or as stand-alone projects. Happy clients are happy people! I have developed deep expertise in assisting Canadian entities with the indirect tax impact and tax recovery strategies relating to loyalty programs, as well as government audits and obtaining indirect tax rulings. Fortunately, I also get the opportunity to assist clients on issues relating to all areas of customs including tariff classification, customs valuation consulting, re-determinations and re-appraisals, NAFTA and origin consulting, assisting with customs audits and developing internal customs control procedures for Canadian importers and exporters. My combined customs and indirect tax experience really helps with complex cross border transactions and I love being able to help clients find the best solutions. On a personal note, I have an incredible family including my dogs and I love keeping very active.
