ABOUT ANGELA FREEMAN

Over the past 20 years I have contributed to the success of a nationally known minority supplier development council’s mission to develop and grow small and minority owned businesses, as an advocate, servant leader, and champion.My expansive expertise and business acumen resulted in a national recognition as the “go-to” resource for facilitating relationships and developing small businesses. I have developed and implemented strategic plans that have expanded the council’s focus to aggressively target opportunities for businesses that result in awarded contracts and assisting corporate members in achieving their supplier diversity goals. My role has included, but not limited to, coordinating business development initiatives that involve corporations, government agencies, prime contractors and small businesses, managed operations of the corporate service program through effective communication, developing & facilitating on-going relationship and capacity building initiative, facilitate supplier development programs and executed diversity strategies via committee involvement. I facilitate and generate relationships that increases opportunities for small and minority business enterprise participation. My skillsets have increased exponentially working with over 200 corporations and MBEs both locally and nationally.
