ABOUT ANGELA FISHER-SOLOMON
Dr. Angela Fisher-Solomon is an internationally-recognized leader with 20 years in the field of infant mental health and early childhood development. She is a highly respected expert in infant toddler behavior, and the Founding Director and Chief Baby Officer of A. Baby Institute based in New Jersey.Through various roles including Assistant Director at BUILD, Dr. Fisher-Solomon has worked at ZERO TO THREE on several federally funded national projects focused on Home Visiting, Policy, Family Child Care, Early Head Start, and Child Care. She is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care to help infants and young children reach their full potential, and has extensive experience in working with parents and professionals around social emotional development and attachment relationships.Dr. Fisher-Solomon is a national content expert in infant mental health, early relational health, and the infant parent relationship. She is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and has been a leader in developing and implementing evidence-based practices and policies to support infants and their families. Her private practice has been focused primarily on early relational well-being, parenting guidance of young children and their families, and the development of evidence-based programs and services. Currently, Dr. Fisher-Solomon is committed to increasing access to mental health care for infants and their families through her research on the pioneering infant observation tool, the FIOT® to strengthen adult-infant relationships through the lens of relationship-based practices, cultural diversity, and respectful interactions. When she’s not training families or consulting on federal and state level government Early Relational Health programs, Dr. Angela Fisher-Solomon can be found serving on the Board of Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE®).Dr. Fisher-Solomon is dedicated to using her extensive experience and knowledge to serve families and infants, and improve the lives of those she serves across cultures.
