MASHBURN is a vertically-integrated luxury retailer of men\'s (Sid Mashburn) and women\'s (Ann Mashburn) apparel and accessories. We design, produce, and market through our Mashburn stores and e-commerce shop, a nationally-recognized assortment of SID MASHBURN and ANN MASHBURN products in men\'s and women\'s tailored clothing, sportswear, footwear, and accessories alongside high-quality, iconic brands- Oversee the women’s design team for woven, knits and accessories categories- Research Trends (mood, silhouettes, fabrics, consumer needs)- Responsible for selecting fabrics and building concept presentation for the season- Responsible for key milestone presentations to the owner and executive to sign off on design concept for the season- Lead the team to design new silhouettes for each upcoming season- Design wholesale & catalog capsule collections and ensure samples are in on time and following calendar deadlines- Ensure garments fit correctly and construction is up to the company’s standards- Make all initial sketches for all women’s apparel categories- Oversee the creation of tech packs for all new styles- Extensive experience managing relations with vendors overseas- Anticipate problems and make quick decisions to solve those problems directly with the factories and on a timely manner- Extensive pattern and construction knowledge.
