ABOUT ANGELA DAY

I began my nursing career in the critical care area and have spent the majority of my career (30 years) there both as a staff nurse, a preceptor for newer nurses, a charge nurse and a Nurse Manager. I have had the privilege of working for over seven years in the peri operative area as a pre op and PACU nurse as well as one year in utilization management at a large medical insurance company. With my strong critical care background I have had an impressive track record of unit leadership, maintaining patient satisfaction while maximizing staff performance and maintaining the highest standards in patient care excellence. I have maintained a dedication to ensuring full regulatory compliance measures while encouraging team members to give their best every day through building meaningful relationships. I have a career history of keeping abreast of ever-changing industry regulations, trends, and guidelines. I am dedicated to continuously increasing productivity of my teams while motivating and supporting them to give their best every day.My nearly 32 years of nursing experience has provided me an edge among others by staying ahead of evidence based practices in my fields of expertise. My core values include integrity, dedication and loyalty. These are steadfast and are unable to be challenged by anyone with these same values.
