About Angela Brien
Growing up, I was inspired by my mother and father who own and operated their own business for over 30 years. I admired their strong work ethic, how they provided jobs to our local community, and their perseverance. They instilled in me what it meant to be a hard worker and the value of a dollar. I always knew that I wanted to study business in college; however, I wasn’t sure where my path would take me. I have succeeded and lost in life and been through difficult times, but it has shaped me into the person I am today. I would not want my path to look different because of everything I have gain in the process. I have grown exponentially in the most challenging times of my life, and it has created in me a passion and zest for life that I would not have otherwise.Starting my career in the tire industry was a fun and interesting experience; however, I knew I wanted to experience different industries and find out where I would thrive. I gained experience in sales, marketing, finance, management, coaching, and accounting with a variety of different industries. However, the industry I absolutely fell in love with was property management. It felt like I won the lottery of career paths, and the industry always pulled me back in even when I took time off to start a family. I quickly learned about what it meant to have a business mindset when making decisions for a property. I had the opportunity to care for a multi million dollar investment and make decisions on behalf of the owners. I learned about vendor management, bids, finances, leasing, time management, managing teams, marketing, and learned what it truly meant to wear many hats.I landed on a gold mine when I could combine my favorite industry of property management and accounting. I had married the best industry with my education and could not be happier. I am passionate about accounting, helping others thrive, coaching/teaching/presenting, and I will forever remain a learner for the rest of my life.Outside of work I love my family, music, art, food, photography, working out, nature, exploring the world, church, volunteering, reading, listening to podcasts, writing, and attending workshops/courses that will help me continue to grow. Please feel free to connect with me. I enjoy meeting with new people, learning your story, and gaining new perspectives!
