ABOUT ANGELA BENNETT
I began my career as a 68A (Biomedical Equipment Technician) in the United States Army, where I developed a strong foundation in healthcare technology and service leadership. Over the past 11 years, I’ve worked my way from BMET I to CE Network Director of a hospital system HTM department.Throughout my journey, I’ve been fortunate to receive opportunities that have shaped me both personally and professionally. I’m honored to be the recipient of multiple awards, including the AAMI 2020 Young Professional Award, the Trailblazer Award, and the Making a Difference Award through TRIMEDX.I’m also proud to serve as a faculty member for the AAMI CHTM Prep Course, helping the next generation of HTM leaders grow and succeed.I take immense pride in what I’ve accomplished, but even greater gratitude for the mentors, peers, and teams who helped me get here. As I always remind myself — “What got you here, will not get you there.”
