ABOUT ANGELA ALMBANIS
Over 20 years ago, I got passionate about financial planning. I was a teller at the time and I decided I was going to level-up. I took CSC and financial planning courses and eventually became an Assistant Manager; my planning career began. I found my way to Bay Street and after a few years I made my way to CIBC as a Financial Advisor. I loved the work, my team and my clients – however, after a decade in the job and two kids later, I needed a change in pace. I was always excited and intrigued by Business Banking and CIBC was hiring Business Advisors. It was sink or swim from the beginning… I took up the charge. My first year in the role I had a tremendous amount of success and I knew there was no looking back. Simply put, I love my job in Business Banking for two reasons: the dynamic nature of the work and my clients. Each day is different and serving entrepreneurs is so exciting! Everyone’s business is unique and special and you get to go on a journey with them.
