About the Role:As a UI/UX Design Intern at FruitBowl Digital. A full-service digital agency working across branding, web/mobile products, social media and marketing campaigns.I’ll be embedded in the design team to support end-to-end user-centered design for a diverse portfolio of client projects.Key Responsibilities:User Research & Analysis: Conduct user interviews, surveys and heuristic evaluations to uncover pain points and define personas.Information Architecture & Wireframing: Develop user flows, sitemaps and low-fi wireframes in Figma/Adobe XD to validate layout and navigation.High-Fidelity Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes (mobile & web) that reflect brand guidelines and responsive design principles.Usability Testing & Iteration: Plan and facilitate moderated usability sessions; document findings and iterate designs to improve task completion and accessibility (WCAG).Design System & UI Assets: Contribute to component libraries, style guides and design tokens to ensure consistency across projects and streamline handoff to developers.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX writers, developers, project managers and marketing specialists to align on business goals, timelines and technical constraints.Stakeholder Presentations: Prepare and present design concepts and user-testing insights to clients and senior leadership, incorporating feedback into subsequent iterations.What I’m Learning & Contributing:Applying real-world agency workflows (agile sprints, client reviews, rapid prototyping)Crafting accessible, responsive experiences for sectors like hospitality, real estate and civic servicesTranslating business requirements into meaningful user journeys that drive engagement and measurable ROI
