Angel is a highly accomplished professional with a robust background in IT security. He currently leads an international team of 13 Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs), showcasing his strong leadership and deep expertise in PCI DSS. His core strengths lie in IT security auditing, consulting, and developing comprehensive risk assessment methodologies.Angel is particularly adept at risk identification, prioritization, and treatment, consistently applying the rigorous standards of NIST 800-30 and NIST 800-53 frameworks. Beyond NIST, he\'s also highly proficient in executing risk assessments utilizing ISO 27005, expertly leveraging ISO 27002 control objectives to ensure thorough evaluations.His consulting experience is extensive, encompassing leadership and participation in diverse security projects. These include compliance and audit gap assessments, the development of robust information security policies and procedures, and critical system and network device hardening.Throughout his career, Angel has a proven track record of performing rigorous security and compliance audits against key industry standards such as PCI DSS, SOX, and COBIT.Outside of his professional commitments, Angel is a dedicated volunteer.
