ABOUT ANGEL HICKS
I was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to Illinois State University and established a 3.6 GPA during my first semester of college. I became a peer mentor at Illinois State during my sophomore year, and this position helped me serve as a role model for incoming freshmen and a guide on the side to help them with their success. I participated in ISU\'s Society for Human Resource Management which helped me network with students and faculty members pursuing and working in my same career interests. I have taken two Mandarin Chinese courses in high school and four additional courses in college.I am a Human Resource major and May 2022 graduate. I am a member of the ISU Honors Program, and I am actively involved in the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society along with the National Society for Leadership and Success. I have also been inducted into the Red Tassel Mortar Board Honors Society. I am interested in the management and operations area of HR, and I want to use my love for the Chinese language to pursue business in China. I want to help others by training, educating, and managing them. I want to make sure everyone inside and outside my place of work is well taken care of and has all their needs met.
