When I started in sales, not too long ago (about 15 years ago), I always thought that sales was about numbers. In fact it is a very important component in determining your success as a sales person but its not the only component that will determine how successful you will be. More important than numbers, and this is what I have learned, is that sales is about RELATIONSHIPS. The biggest compliment that I have ever received was a blank PO from a Distributor of Cellular Accessories. The customer told me that I knew his business so well that to please send him what I thought he would be able to sell over the next 2 months. That TRUST that he gave me, knowing that all sales are final, has been the biggest compliment I have received in the 15 years that I have been with AdvanceTec. I treat my customers as a member of my family!I truly believe that when you built relationships and take care of customers\' needs sales take care of themselves!
