ABOUT ANGAD SIDHU
As a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, I am driven by my passion for justice, advocacy, and community building. With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Philosophy from McGill University, including an exchange year at University College London, I have developed a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving and policy analysis. I’ve had the privilege of serving as Co-President of McGill Students for UNICEF, where I led a large, dynamic team and successfully coordinated events and advocacy initiatives, deepening my commitment to public service and international development. My legislative research experience, particularly with the Joint Committee on Housing at the Massachusetts State House, sharpened my analytical and policy skills, giving me firsthand insight into the complexities of housing legislation and governance. Beyond academics and leadership roles, my work as a Floor Fellow at McGill and committee member for International Students Affairs helped me foster inclusive environments, addressing the needs of diverse student communities. I am always eager to engage with opportunities that allow me to apply my legal education, leadership, and advocacy skills to effect meaningful change.
