ABOUT AMANDA N. FLEURY
I am a design engineer with an affinity for data science, a love for sewing and pattern drafting, and an interest in global health and engineering education. I\'ve designed and manufactured wearable technologies with best-in-class brain-sensing capabilities for mass markets. I\'ve incorporated textile-based sensors in high-sensitivity bio-signal processing applications. I\'ve designed and fabricated custom assistive technologies in clinical environments. Over the course of years, I\'ve taught aspects of engineering to nearly 800 early and upper-year university students, both in Canada and in developing nations. My PhD is in biomedical engineering, but that\'s just one chapter in this story.
