I work in the finance department of the Global Technology Division at Aegon, a company with operations in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. ABOUT ANETA JARMULA
ACCA member and experienced Accountant with international finance expertise across financial services, oil & gas, renewables, logistics and manufacturing sectors. Currently working for Aegon within their Global Technology division, where I am responsible for partnering with global business units to understand performance drivers and achieve cost-saving targets. I also work closely with cost centre managers to assess cost impacts and develop robust forecasts and budgets.In my previous role, I managed planning and forecasting for a portfolio of assets at an oil & gas E&P company in Aberdeen. Previously I gained joint venture accounting experience in a similar role. Past experience includes working at JP Morgan Corporate Investment Bank in Edinburgh as a Financial Reporting Analyst, supporting, managing and tracking the production of financial statements for JP Morgan clients. Earlier roles include serving as part of the Central Finance team at Cairn Energy PLC, an oil & gas company, handling project accounting and supporting month-end and year-end management accounts. In the renewables sector, worked at Atlantis Resources Ltd (part of AIM-LSE listed group), contributing to tidal power projects globally, including MeyGen. The Atlantis group develops, constructs and operates tidal power projects across the globe. Additional experience includes working in Aberdeen for a leading international energy logistics provider and for Europe’s largest windows & doors manufacturer in Denmark.I worked closely with Operations and Finance Managers to produce performance reports as well as profitability, cost and variances analyses.
