I’m a pragmatic litigator and trusted advisor. I provide strategic guidance from the outset of a conflict and have the advocacy skills and experience to take matters through trial, arbitration, and appeal. My practice spans shareholder, contractual, securities enforcement, regulatory, and administrative law matters, including professional discipline matters. I also advise on specialty lines insurance disputes, including D&O, E&O, products liability, real estate, and coverage issues. I’ve represented both insureds and insurers, including advising the executive team of a global car rental company on complex coverage matters involving BC’s statutory and regulatory insurance framework—securing a key dismissal on a choice of law challenge. I’ve made submissions at all levels of court in British Columbia, conducted trials in both Provincial and Supreme Courts, and handled hearings before the BC Securities Commission.
