I have always been curious and creative. The people I love would describe me as a quick learner and problem solver. In my career, I am interested in the intersection of social justice and technology, innovation, and design. I am passionate about people, communities and advocating for change. My work has spanned a large range of socioeconomic issues that join together in the ability for technology to be a tool for advocacy and liberation.Today, I am the Lead UX Research for Pinterest’s Closeup surface and I pride myself for being thoughtful, thorough, deeply caring and having a knack for balancing rigor with agility. My research superpower is not being afraid to try something creative to get the perspective we need. I have strong product thinking and intuition, always seeking clarity within the possibilities.    Lead UX Researcher for the Closeup SurfaceResponsibilities are the same as my previous role with the addition of intentional focus on: Supporting more ambiguous and complex research questions using multi-part studies of various methodological approach, scope and timeframe. Particularly honing in on research synthesis and repackaging insights for more impact. Conducting end to end research with rigor in craft, including scoping, recruitment and storytelling. Initiating, leading and managing vendor partners for recruiting and full-service projects. Providing strategic support to PM and Design partners on product planning and vision work streams.
