ABOUT ANDREW WALTON
I believe that when people feel confident, supported, and empowered, great things happen. That’s why my leadership style is all about equipping teams with the tools, trust, and encouragement they need to succeed. I also believe in setting the bar high—creating an environment where people feel inspired, and challenged, to strive for excellence and deliver outstanding commercial results. Whether it’s hitting sales targets or raising the standard of service, I lead with a blend of support, challenge, and belief in people’s potential.I started out as a professional chef, which gave me a deep understanding of hospitality from the ground up. That foundation led me into high-volume kitchen operations, corporate hospitality, pub management, and later into training and development—each step strengthening my passion for developing people and delivering results. In 2014, I returned to the pub restaurant sector as a General Manager with Greene King. Then in 2019, I took on a secondment as a Business Development Manager (BDM/Area Manager), leading multiple sites through the unprecedented challenges of COVID lockdowns and reopening. It was a demanding period, but one that brought out the very best in my teams. After a brief return to pub operations, I was permanently appointed as a BDM in early 2022. From then until my voluntary redundancy in April 2025, I continued to lead and develop high-performing, commercially successful teams across a portfolio of sites. Now, I’m excited to take on a new challenge in a multi-site role—where I can bring my experience, energy, and people-first mindset to drive growth and build thriving teams.
