An adaptable and experienced FCA qualified finance leader with expertise in financial management and a demonstrable track-record of exercising sound financial stewardship through finance leadership of a highly matrixed multi-million-dollar International business segment and from acting as a Charity Trustee. Extensive people management experience through membership of site and departmental leadership teams and governance responsibilities of sitting on Steering Committees and taskforces.Calm and level-headed, with technical expertise and experience of the legal/fiduciary responsibilities of running a company as a statutory director and a belief in ethical corporate governance. With 5 years’ experience of P&L ownership over 8 years’ experience of financial controllership, I have been particularly effective in increasing profitability, working capital management, process improvements and change management.I am able to influence/successfully engage with stakeholders through effective communication and visibility across executive management and commercial business partners. This has allowed me to embrace the value brought by financial transformation, demonstrated by leadership roles in financial systems projects and implementation of transformational restructurings. I’m proactive and externally focused, used to delivering against tight deadlines and navigating regular change and uncertainty in distressed and fast-moving company environments. I have gained experience of businesses in turn around, the sale process and also acquisition integration from working in publicly traded and private equity backed multinational companies. My industry experience has been in entertainment and licensing, with a professional background in audit practice and transaction services.
