Following my 15 years of process improvements and system implementations I have moved into a role which will allow me to apply these skills across the wider business.Recently I have been working closely with our FP & A teams to design and implement a revenue forecasting model which also drives marketing decisions and ultimately a balance sheet and cash flow forecast.I have been looking into API data feeds to help us perform daily reconciliations of cash, we are extending this logic to post our cash journal including the relevant bank reference, this will allow for an automation of our bank reconciliations using tools linked to our Netsuite ERP

I am an FCA, audit experienced qualified accountant having trained with KPMG and qualified in 2008. I enjoy a challenge, asking questions, understanding businesses and processes and creating solutions that are sometimes unvonventional. I enjoy a good fire-fight and take great satisfaction from the end resolutions.I enjoy bringing my unique IT skills (VB.Net, SQL, etc) along with my personable nature to connect the IT and finance teams as well as making finance more relateable and understandable around the organisation. I am a natural problem solver and enjoy emploring creative and alternative solutions to issues and challenges.Since leaving KPMG I have worked for Awaze as part of a US listed business and then Private Equity. I have held numerous roles including SOX lead, Financial Controller and most recently European Director of Finance Transformation. I have been involved in many projects including ERP Migrations and the Acquisition and Due Dilligence of Hoseasons and James Villa Holidays.
