Very pleased to have led the search to bring David Gow to the Center for Houston\'s Future as President and CEO. David is a successful technology and media executive, VC, and non-profit and civic leader with a passion for Houston. Thanks to Spencer Stuart for invaluable assistance. This is a pivotal time for Greater Houston and the Center, which is prioritizing a Vision 2050 initiative. I\'m excited to remain on the Board, and serve as Nominating Committee Chair and Hydrogen Program Committee Chair. Overall my goal remains to develop a portfolio of Board and Advisory roles with an Energy Transition focus. Recent and current roles include serving as an Independent Director and Interim CEO of a VC-backed battery energy storage company, and an Advisory Board member of green hydrogen project development company, University of Houston collaborations include as an Advisory Board member of the Bauer Business School\'s Gutierrez Energy Management Institute (GEMI), Energy Transition/Hydrogen lecturer and advisory on an initiative to repurpose offshore Gulf assets and resources for renewable power and hydrogen. Entered industry as a Production Operations Engineer and spent 35 years as a management consultant working on leading edge strategy issues facing energy clients, cutting across the value chain, geographies, and functional areas.
