Strategic communications and marketing leader. • I chase elite performance as an ultrarunner competing in 100+ mile events. • I have the top 2023 U.S. performance in the 24-hour event (112.7 miles / 181.373 km) in my age group. • In 2022 and 2023, I was 1 of 25 runners representing the U.S. at the Spartathlon in Greece. This 153-mile (246 km) ultramarathon starts at the Acropolis in Athens and ends in Sparta. • I compete in epic endurance races to explore the exterior & interior worlds: to do things beyond the normal range of experience, condition my mind to overcome challenges, and adventure my life’s unique adventure. • I love what ultrarunning demands from me every day: self-discipline, consistency, resilience, resolve, imagination, innovation, gratitude, and awe. The activity requires one critical skill: the ability to control our thinking and bring our attention back to the highest-quality thoughts and actions – over and over, mile after mile, hour after hour. • When not training for new adventures, I’m CMO @ SurePeople.
