ABOUT ANDREW BRYAN

Executive Coaching focusses on an individual’s unique goals, strengths and development areas. Through my training and experience as an Executive Coach and Mentor, I help professionals gain a deeper understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses and what they can do to realise their full potential. I use my coaching skills and my extensive personal experiences to help my clients consider things from different perspectives in order to open their minds to different solutions. My philosophy reflects a belief that the most important role a coach plays is to enable people to think differently. Clients often expect information and advice from their coach when what they really need is help to think through their deepest questions and learn to look at their world differently. Coaching may also involve passing on tips, recommending strategies and pointing to short cuts. Given my extensive working experience, I can offer help to my clients, often regarded as mentoring, where it is relevant to their situation. My goal is to keep moving you forward and helping you to avoid getting stuck. If a tip or technique shortens the process, then that must be good! My clients typically ask how they can:• Build towards their next career stage • Improve their leadership skills?• Build effective relationships in the workplace? • Be more confident and develop more self-belief?• Achieve more alignment in the next phase of their career• Achieve better recognition and success in the workplace? As my client, you have an accountability partner who will push you to unlock your potential, overcome challenges and achieve your goals. We will discuss and agree the way we work together, check our effectiveness and change direction as required. Some people says that it’s like I’m driving the car, but you are directing me on where we should go!On a personal level, I have had a broad career where the main unifying factor has been to utilise the benefits gained by implementing new technologies. My experience ranges from start ups to high growth and mature organisations and includes specialist technical roles as well as the leadership of large distributed teams often operating remotely. I have been fortunate to work around the world including responsibility for teams in Europe, Asia and North America. One more thing. I don\'t just talk about things. My portfolio career allows me to take on consultancy projects, teach on the Executive Management Program at Henley and my coaching & mentoring clients keep me up to date on the hot topics senior managers are having to deal with.
