As an Investor and Advisor I work with the ambitious and energized leadership teams in Professional Services, many of whom I have Co Founded. To me business is the embodiment of the culture, skills and expertise of the team, reflected on a daily basis through the actions of its owners. These are the the type of businesses that give me a buzz, and are the only ones I work with.In return they get a different perspective, both of their firm, and of its marketplace; based on my unparalleled experience. While I can provide a hands-on input when required, my role is about helping others achieve more.My experience comes from working within a top 20 UK firm of accountants for over 30 years,(16 of those as Group Managing Partner); creating a new top 30 UK national firm; and working with regional firms covering both general practice and boutique specialist services. I have also been responsible for the development of overseas markets for our clients. Prior to that I worked for a top 4 firm in the UK and the Far East. During my time I have seen many changes, the only constant is that the rate of change is increasing.
