ABOUT ANDY MCKEE
Since 1998 I have been working in the field of release, configuration and environment management for a variety of employers. I have experienced the need to deliver a quality product to the end user in the fields of government, finance and the utility industries.During my career I have been in a lead position to deliver a range of projects. These vary from the speculative demands of a two hundred and fifty thousand desktop roll-out for Year to the financial requirements of a single workstation deployments monitoring North Sea oil taxation.In the area of software and environment management I have had been tasked with deployments to satisfy the requirements of;• Legislation – VAT rate changes, implementation of Government schemes ‘CIS, CoTax’• Demand / reactive – Pricing change in the utilities industries• End of Life / Status – MS Office 2007 & Vista operating systemsI have managed a varied size and scope of teams and also worked as a single support point managing my own work. Previous to working in IT I lectured in engineering and ran a driving school so I am well versed in the evaluation and motivation of both individuals and groups.Specialties: Large and small application role out projects. Management of application packaging teams. Customer management.
