As Squad Coach of the Rare Disease Pipeline at Genomics England, I support the delivery of a SaaMD (Software-as-a-Medical-Device) platform that transforms whole genome sequencing into actionable insight. The pipeline looks across the whole genome to find different kinds of genetic changes, then sorts the most relevant ones into clear priority groups for NHS laboratories to investigate potential genetic causes of rare conditions and ultimately deliver faster diagnoses and more personalised care for patients.
