As a Healthcare Quality Solutions & Development Manager, I am responsible for identifying, securing, cultivating, and managing relationships with hospitals and other key stakeholders with regards to quality improvement; implementing the “Get With the Guidelines” healthcare quality improvement programs in the greater Sacramento Valley area, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, and Arizona (and other states) to achieve program goals (Stroke. Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, Resuscitation, and within Post Acute). Manage hospitals and hospital systems and engage the medical community with regards to the programs (conduct hospital site visits, workshops, committee meetings, teleconferences etc.); working with state health departments, quality improvement organizations, health plans and other agencies to ensure that our quality improvement initiatives are key priorities within their organizations. Identify and leverage opportunities and methods for improving clinical performance through process improvements, workflow redesign, and care management. I serve as a strong resource and have the ability to surmount barriers through a consultative, value-added approach with strong follow through.
