Andy Heins is Vice President and Chief Security & Privacy Officer for Lifepoint Health. In his role, he manages teams responsible for responsible for the following ITS Departments: · Information Security - Cyber Defense Management · Identity Management / Platform Solutions · Information Protection & Privacy · Enterprise Architecture · IT Service Management / Enterprise Customer Support/Help desk functions for all business lines · Acute-care Clinical Systems (Meditech, Allscripts and MedHost) · Datacenter Operations / Infrastructure Solutions, Cloud, Servers, Storage and Compute · Networking & Telecom (Engineering, Support and NOC) · ITS Acute Operations & OptimizationLifepoint Health owns and operates 60 Community Hospitals, 49 Rehabilitation hospitals and 25 behavior health hospitals, and 300+ additional sites of care, including acute rehabilitation units, outpatient centers and post-acute care facilities. Prior to joining LifePoint Health, Andy served in roles in Information Security Compliance at Community Health Systems and Information Security and Internal Audit roles at Hospital Corporation of America.Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Computer Information Systems from Murray State University. Andy is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional “CISSP” and holds an Executive CISO Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. Andy serves on numerous technology and academic advisory boards.
