ABOUT ANDY RICHARDSON
Enterprising and passionate about unifying teams to discover, execute and take successful products to market that solve challenging problems and that customers love. I\'m a Product Manager with a BSc ITMB, Computer Science from Loughborough University. A degree developed in collaboration with Google, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM.My story:In college, I was consulted to design a prototype rucksack for a Poweriser® reseller and a website to discover sports facilities and teams in your local area, lead by a former GB Athlete. I designed and built a website to collect ticket payments for a music festival while prototyping a ‘smart’ children’s laundry storage solution that built positive habits and alerted parents. I captained a team that placed first at a regional RIBI Technology Tournament. At Uni I led a team in IBM’s University Business Challenge. In first, second and final year respectively, I was re-elected elected by peers as the student body representative within the Department of Computer Science where I proposed and gained funding for a web based platform to improve communication, transparency and responsiveness to the student groups.I graduated with a 2:1, was a recipient of a University Award and joined the University of Nottingham’s 2010/11 Talent Builder internship programme.In my final year co-founded Renuntio, a platform and community for creating memorials.Since then I’ve worked as an in-house and consultant Product Manager and Researcher, User Experience & Product Designer and Growth Marketer, leading research, strategy and execution for products and services across web, mobile and software for leading companies around the globe. I was also part of the founding team for Taltrack, a employee performance management and engagement platform.Closer to home I\'ve consulted for and advised startups, SMEs and E-commerce businesses and have led masterclasses and training for chamber of commerce digital growth programmes and networks. I\'ve also established Meetups covering: product, emerging technology and showcasing local innovators.
