ABOUT ANDY BROGAN

Over a 30 year career, Andy has developed deep knowledge and experience in the Oil & Gas sector, advising large and small firms (upstream & downstream) as well as governments on corporate strategy, M&A, divestiture, valuation, deal structuring, bid negotiation and financing. His work has taken him into more than 30 countries, including Russia and Kazakhstan where he built, over 5 years, large and successful transaction teams serving the region.He is frequently sought by the media for his expertise appearing regularly in print (FT, WSJ, Reuters, Petroleum Economist, etc.) and on television (CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg). He authors several well respected EY publications including, The Capital Confidence Barometer oil and gas edition, and the Global oil and gas transactions review. Andy is often requested to speak at global conferences including the World Petroleum Congress 2014, Platts European Gas Conference, World National Oil Companies Congress and International Petroleum Week etc.Andy finds the sector a source of continuous fascination, a vital industry experiencing monumental change where technology plays a huge and growing role. He is perhaps best known for an ability to cut through very complex issues, combining an intimate understanding of geopolitical forces with practical sector knowledge.
