Jul 2022 — Present · Ignacio, CO, US

I started my Landman career in January of 2006 after graduating from Dallas Baptist University. I started as a field Landman from 2006 – 2011. In 2011 I was hired by Chevron, where I managed Chevron’s San Juan Basin assets in La Plata County, Colorado, focusing on Chevron\'s wells within the bounds of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe Reservation. While at Chevron, I managed all land issues associated with Chevron\'s operations, specifically all associated surface owner issues and relationships, all leases/joint operating agreements /farmouts, managed multiple brokers, negotiated surface/damage agreements, negotiated multiple agreements with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe’s Department of Energy in conjunction with the BIA & BLM, and managed property divestments. I was hired by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe in January of 2018 as the Land Manager of the Department of Energy. I work closely with operators on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation, managing the Tribes\' natural resources. Most recently, I served the Growth Fund organization as the Acting Energy Manager.
