About Andy Weber

I have worked in the machining industry here in the NW for many years. I started in a small shop in Auburn WA where I learned the core values of the trade. My next role allowed me to learn CAD/CAM Programming in a family-owned gear manufacturer. From this I began my sales career for a global, industry leading tooling manufacturer. Early roles here included starting a new sales territory and growing it to a sustainable level. In following years, I took on a regional role supporting the NW sales team as an applications specialist working on major projects both with customers and internal product development. My key accomplishment involved the development of an endmill that worked very well in High Velocity milling of Titanium and PH alloys. This endmill platform remains a high value global platform for them to this day. Recently I packed up those skills and brought them with me to enter the rapidly growing world of Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0. I love a challenge and I love sharing/developing my experiences with others. I will work hard to become the resource that keeps you up to date on current machine and automation capabilities. Through this I will build a mutually beneficial relationship that delivers successful/profitable implementation of machine and process methodologies for all our stakeholders. I keep myself challenged in all aspects of life with activities and exploration. My wife and I love to travel both local and global. We love exploring mountains, Islands, and remote towns/harbors both near and far. We build/maintain our Jeeps, Sailboats, and air miles to enable our exploration. Still so much to see, so many cultures to experience!
