Akwel UK design, develop and manufacture a wide range of fluid transfer products using various technologies, including injection / blow moulding and a wide variety of fully automated robotic systems to transfer and assemble components.Within this high technological automotive 1st tier supplier environment it is my pleasure and responsibility to ensure our IATF and other certifications are continually managed and improved via our world class Quality Management System.Key performance indicators which include, PPM < 2.7, RFT <0.7, IPB <1500, customer satisfaction and a range of HSE metrics to ensure safety of our team and continual improvements of ISO14001 are managed, including various internal Akwel group requirements. My Quality Engineering / HSE team and I work hard with all other business partners and team members to achieve these targets to contribute to a harmonzied and happier workplace for our team members and to assist in the growth of the business.Recently I was pleased to be requested to undertake the role of Technical Manager alongside my other engineering responsibilities. This opportunity has allowed my existing teams and the site engineering and technical team members to become more aligned in providing quality product whilst increasing our customer satisfaction.
